Detail of Portico Frieze

This is the most familiar view of the Court's exterior. Below the pediment is "Equal Justice Under Law." As a classically designed building, there is another similar frieze and pediment on the opposite side of the building. Below that pediment you will find "Justice the Guardian of Liberty."
